The Penguins of Madagascar is an animated comedy film based on the characters from the animated series of the same name. It was produced by DreamWorks Animation and distributed by DreamWorks. The film is the third to be based on the characters of the series and the first to be animated. The movie is set in Madagascar, and revolves around the adventures of a group of penguins.
